Thursday evenings 19.15-21.15 ~ starting 26 April ~ 10 weeks ~£140
On this ten week evening course, learn the ancient craft skills, of stained glass, which still apply to contemporary stained glass design today. Come and be inspired by ancient and modern glass artists and then design, choose, cut, and assemble your own vibrant and stunning works of art in stained glass. There will be opportunities to do some glass painting. You will make a panel of approximately 30 x 30 cm.
Tools will be provided. There will be a materials cost of roughly £30.00, depending on what you choose to order.
No experience is needed, but support is also offered to those with previous experience. Jill is happy to discuss your ideas for your own project in advance if you have any questions.
There is also a possibility of doing kiln work, pending on there being enough interest.
